Houston Rebuilding Trip 2017
October 18-25, 2017
For one week near the end of October individuals from the Kansas-Nebraska Conference along with area friends, faculty and students at the University of Nebraska will go down to Houston, TX to help churches and individuals rebuild after Hurricane Harvey. Teams will leave on the 18th of October and return on the 25th. They will join with the mission trip organizers from the Northern New England Conference and volunteers from other places to form one large group. From there they will split off into smaller projects in local homes or with other aid agencies such as Team Rubicon. Housing and food will be provided by the members of the churches or the aid agencies. Transportation down and back will cost $125 for those in Kansas or Nebraska. Donations for materials to be used will be accepted.
